Cool Welcome to my world of computers the mechanic said

as I asked him WTF had happened.

Threw a P0412, P1641 and P1642.

Looked in the Helms manual and was like I gotta test friggin circuits.

Did a search here and found I could just change the #7 fuse switch the relays around until I found the culprit.

Started with the fuse (old one looked fine but replaced it) , switched like relays around, reset SES. Started her up - no friggin codes.

Unfriggin believable.

I can imagine the dealer bill

1 hour scan DTC's
1 hour troubleshoot DTC 0412
1 hour troubleshoot DTC 1641
1 hour troubleshoot DTC 1641
1 hour repair DTC 0412
1 hour repair DTC 1641
1 hour repair DTC 1642
Parts

Total $500.00 if they're nice!

Test drove her another 10 miles or so, fine.

Will run her this weekend and see if all it was is a friggen fuse.

Weird thing on search for 1641 and 1642 is some think it is fuel related when it is cooling fan related. Some diagnostic manual must have a typo.

Have a nice 4th, I know I will.

Depends on how it's friggin used in a sentence. See?

Glad you friggin figured that friggen crap out. I'd be friggin ticked if the friggen dealer friggin nailed me for a huge friggin repair bill. Friggen con artists.
