I just finished putting in my stroker about a week aga and have developed this oil leak from the back of the motor that leaks a lot worse when the car is aimed downhill. First suspect is the rear main, but why would it only leak bad pointed downhill, wouldn't it leak worse when aimed uphill. If it is not this, and I don't think it is the intake gasket, what could be causing this? What could cause the car to leak more aimed downhill than uphill?

 

Are you sure it's oil? Could it possibly be the tranny? That may become more noticable when tilting downhill, but as for the engine leaking, there's nothing I can think of on the back to the motor that would leak more when pointing down.

 

I maight be way off but when my oil pan first started leaking it would do it more when aimed downhill. I couldnt tell it was the oilpan until it got worse.
