half of the digits dont show from time to time .. is that something i can fix myself or do i have to send it back to someone !? usually a smack on the dash fixes the problem... but i wanna have it fixed properly .. tierd of smacking my dash

sounds like you gave it one smack to many

 

I think the smacking the dash comment won't be too helpful if you try to get them to fix it. (especially under warranty)

 

Maybe a loose ground wire? Mine did the same thing.
