weird misfire issue

weird misfire issue

Want to know if anybody has ever ran into this or something like this car is in miami getting tuned the issue is car will misfire and timing goes all over the place when the alternator is hooked up when it is disconnected it runs good have tried 3 alternators swapped in a new dfi computer tried shielding the plug wires and alternator had battery in trunk moved back under the hood and still the same any help would be appreciated

I would think there could be a connection to the alternator at the supply voltage to the optical distributor. Look at the 12volt line going to the opti with a scope when the alternator is in place. Once you do that, we'll go from there.
