Weird Left 02 voltages.
Weird Left 02 voltages.
I replaced both sensors with AC Delco 02's just a few days ago. Both sensors only have about 3 days of driving on them.
My left sensor on startup/open loop is at .058 via freescan, my right 02 is at .448.
These voltages on the left and right stay the same until I go into closed loop.
My voltages on the right 02 go anywhere from .48 to .9 as normal, where as my left 02 sensor stays right around .040-.058 most of the time and will occasianally jump to .100 or .900.
The 02 sensors are new, new spark plugs, new injectors.
Could an exhaust leak cause the weird voltages I am seeing during open loop as well??
I am really lost.
Thanks.
Kendall H.

Re: Weird Left 02 voltages.
Nope, thats the weird thing, no SES light. The only exhaust leak I could think of is where my number 1 primary header collects to the rest of the headers on the drivers side. It is like a slip fit connection. I didnt use a exhaust clamp or anything there. They are Hooker headers, so if anyone has these headers please let me know if it is required to put a clamp of some sort there.
It just seems really odd that my voltage readings are really weird on the drivers side but not setting an SES light.
