Weird cooling system problem, need some help (lots of pics)
The hose is the original hose, so I guess it's time for it to be changed anyways.
Go to Autozone and ask to rent this.....cooling system pressure tester...

Fill your cooling system back up with water. Put the tester in place of the pressure cap, raise the pressure to 6 psi....if it does not leak go higher....but DO NOT go above the pressure rating of the cap(if you go above the cap rating you WILL cause leaks). I think you will find your leak quickly with this.....if there is a leak, this will find it.
It worked really well in finding the coolant leaks on my bro's V6 3.8. There were two...one at the water pump and one dripping from the passenger's head inside the crankcase(I only needed 5-6psi of pressure before it started leaking).
It also works well for testing pressure caps.

Hi
Can't explain the spray underhood with any certainty. But the passenger side wet sounds suspiciously like a heater core. Good idea to bypass the core by just connecting the two heater hoses together. Then drive and see if you loose coolant.
Underhood spray might be a long list of items. After you have replaced all the hoses and thermostat, then I'd take a serious look at your water pump.

Being as the passenger floor is wet, you need to investigate the heater core, as stated. When you run the heater, can you smell antifreeze?
As for the underhood stuff, I agree with the bad radiator cap. I can also see that much pressure in the system causing an issue with the hearer core.
