first replace the o2(s) that are shot and see what happens. Be sure you have no more ses lights then recaclualte gas mileage.

I'd say no way on the O2 causing that much of a drop. I think you've got another major problem or leak. Half the country is riding around on shot O2 sensors; it's not that bad.

O2 sensor will certainly contribute... but it's probably been shot since before his recent tune-up.

Recent tune up eh? Check the fuel filter connections. I'd be willing to bet that the new filter is leaking at the fittings.

ok just got my car scanned. It said something about bank 1 o2 sensor rich.
And egr malfunction.

that would be the driveside o2. gmpartsdirect.com wasnt any cheaper.

the scan tool should have told you, which one it was. something like bank 1 sensor 1. meaning driverside on the manifold. or bank 1 sensor 2. meaning driverside after the cat.

ok. I replaced the o2 and found out im running with 7 cyl. One of my plugs is burnt. So im switching from bosch plugs to ngk. And think of which wires to get.

tr 55 plugs and talylor or accel wires. stay away from msd wires.

ok. I saw an increase from 53 mpg at half tank to 101 mpg on half tank all city driving. With the damaged spark plug. All after I replaced that o2.
