Not drivable. Need suggestions.

My 95 Z was down for a few days while I pulled the heads off for a blown gasket, and when I put it back together I have had nothing but problems. It idles real rough and it dies when I come to a stop unless I put it in neutral or park. It runs ok when I ease in to the throttle except there is a bad vibration/shake at 1500rpm in any gear. And it's sluggish if I step on it hard.

I don't know if I overtightend a rocker, or if I have a vac leak and something else, or if there's a bad sensor somwhere.

I did everything myself, and it was my first time pulling the camaro apart that far. So my chance of error was pretty high on the re-assemble. Any suggestions would help.

I think you should readjust the rockers, I like doing it with the engine running

You may have got the O2 sensors wet whent the head gasket blew. Hook up a scan tool and you will be able to tell if you have lazy (or dead) o2 sensors.

I'm going to try to get it scanned within the next few days. Dave, I don't know if I'm brave enough to try anythimg like that with the engine running. I'll leave that to you ASE Certified Master Technicians for now. I like to do things the way my Helms manual tells me to, and nothing different. I trust it, it is my friend. But I will go back and redo it to see if that helps.
