You must have some serious weight reduction because my t-top car without me weighs 3440 and that was probably with between a half tank and three quarters of a tank....
just a little
but i still have ac/heat all my interior, power seat, and stereo.

Mine weighed 3450lbs without me in it and a full tank of gas. This was done with full weight, no weight reduction at all.

You are incorrect. For Camaros the vert only weights about 80-90 lbs more than a coupe. I dont get why some people say oh man your car is so much heavier because the drop top, that is simply wrong. Many if not most Trans Ams weight more than my car due to the ground effects, more options etc. There is over 90 lbs of fluid in our cars. So if i were runnign low on gas, etc, my car would probably weight less than a similar hardtop with its gas and other fluids topped off. You get what i am trying to say? There isnt that much of a weight difference.

Here is the reply that GM sent me:

Our research shows that the base curb weight for the 1995 Camaro is 3,480lbs.
The weight distribution of this 3,480lbs is: 1,940lbs in the front , and
1,540lbs. in the rear. Base curb weight is the shipping weight plus fuel to
capacity. The addition of optional equipment will change the curb weight. The
veh shipping weight is 3,400lbs, which is the weight of the vehicle without any
fuel, oil, or coolant.

(They didn't tell me how much a convertible weighs, but I replied and asked again.)

You're probably exactly right-the main reason a convertible is a tad slower than a coupe is becasue of the drag coefficient. It's a little higher on verts than coupes (even with top up).
