Waterpump weeping: replace pump+opti+timing chain?

No, I used an OEM stock replacement chain and sprockets. Like I said: 100K on the stock chain and it looked just like the new one I put on...
I did not do the ED set, because it's much more expensive and I am not going to do anything drastic to the internals of the engine, at least not soon. All I can see in the near future is some bolt-ons: a catback (GMMG, I LOVE that sound!) and maybe some shortie or mid length headers and Y-pipe (I am thinking Macs...)
