Water seeping in where glass meets hatch

Water seeping in where glass meets hatch
I know that i have a water leak from where my back glass (or back winsheild, whatever) meets the spoiler on the back. Water puddles on the spoiler and then seeps in between the seal. Should i just nicely and neatly use some weatherstrip rtv on it or is there another fix? How should i go about fixing this?

I would think you need to replace the window lace:
-one piece lace for rear window p/n 10433037 $16.07
