Do you have T-Tops? If so, start there and check all seals. If not, my guess would be the hatch is not sealing properly.

I had this same problem about 5 years ago. The car was still under warranty at the time, so the dealer fixed it. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with the doorseal being defective. Must be a semi-common problem. What year is your car?

If the water is where the backseat passenger's feet sit, you are probably missing the rubber plug in the floor right there. If you look under your car in that area, you should see a round rubber plug in the floor pan there, and on the passenger side too. If it is missing, you can see your carpet padding kind of sticking out the hole. Splashing water gets soaked up in the pad and soaks the carpet there. Still missing my passenger side plug.

Had the same problem. Most likely coming from your hatch. To be sure your gonna have to take out your rear drivers side seat then the rear panel where your speakers are mounted in your hatch area, then with your hatch closed take a hose and spray it where the hatch meets the rear quarter panel. 9 times outta 10 you'll see the water come in and run down the hump in your passenger compartment and form a pool of water in the area where the rear seat is. If this is what you see then all you need to do is buy some weatherstrip sealer and reseal the weatherstipping where it curves (if you see the stream of water you"ll now where to reseal) my suggestion is to do about a 6-12 inch area in either direction of the leak to make sure its sealed. This seems to be pretty common. I fixed mine about 2 years ago and not a drop since. Good luck.
