I am thinking about going with a custom cam from Bret for my build this summer, and am just wanting to see of anyone ha some vids of their car with a cam that he built.

 

Hell I can e-mail you a bunch but of you do a search for cams from Lloyd and me for vids you can find a few.

Hey Bret, did you do the cam Denny McClain used to have on his last motor build before the one he has now..its similar to a GTP6 grind? This is the one he made 446rwhp NA in his 383.
If it is, I have a few sound clips of it now in my car with different muffler configurations on it.

Why do you care what it sounds like??? They make good power, that's all that should matter IMO...I can crank the idle speed around and make a "cam" change it's sound easily.

 

i agree, BUT a nice sounding cam is like music to the ears

 

Bret what is the fastest drag car that has one of your cams in it?

 

A LT1? God I think one guy is going for 8 somethings this year in a tube chassis Opel with a LT in it. Already been 9's in a LT, so that's not big news.

Working on a NA LS that should be in the 8's right now.

Once you get to BBC, SBC, BBF etc... the gloves are off. How fast you think a F2 Procharger and 540+ cubes can go?
