Want to see what 176k looks like on the LT1?
I didn't know exactly how to get all the wires away from the body at first. It took a little bit of looking to realize I had to unplug like 4 connectors behind the passenger, side foot well and pull the whole harness out into the engine compartment. Also didn't realize how much of a PITA the power steering lines are!
see how the struts are tied IN towards each other? if you dont do that, when you lift the body they will fall outward and pull on the brake hoses. you could also take out the 1 bolt per side and pull the steel line out a couple inch's to give plenty of slack to let the struts hang outwards. dont forget to unhook the wheel speed sensor connectors and take away the connector thats got a retainer holding it to the painted body instead of the kmember.
as for the brake lines, you gotta take them out of the abs motorpack. the two that will stay as part of the kmember. you'll have to pay attention to how there routed as your lifting the car off the kmember/engine cause they kinda intertwine.
also take special note of how the power steering lines/hoses are routed compared to the a/c lines on the pass side between the fans and the accesories.

One other thing, I didn't realize how easy it was to just pull out the ABS module and master cylinder together. Doing that made life quite a bit easier.
Also, how hard is it to change the slave cylinder and where is the best place to get one? Mine appears to be almost shot.
