So would I send the whole big silver box in if I want to get it tuned or do I open it up and pull some sort of chip out?

 

Send the entire silver box. Only 93 Z's do the chip.

 

If you dont want your car down for the time it takes you to get it back then you can pay a core charge and you will get a new one that is tuned and you send your non tuned one in afterwards to get your money back. But like was stated it is the entire thing unless you have a 93.

 

OR you can pay for a tune that comes via e-mail and load it yourself. Only downside to that is having a computer close to the car and a programming cable. In the long run a cable may be the way to go for logging and what not as well. Just my 2 pennies

Ion got mine back in about 10 total days (not business days). That's from the time it was out of my hand to back in my hand. And I sent it UPS 3 day.
