The client in this case does hit the car show circuit pretty hard and he wanted an engine that looked as good as the car it was going in. This car is by far is the cleanest 94 Camaro I have ever seen, so we certainly had our work cut out for us. In the end we did our best and the client was happy so it was a win win for everyone.

I'm interested in that oil pan. Does it have the proper clearance for the stroke on the 383 (how long of a rod are you using?)??? Does it have all the necessary sensor fittings?? Was it the same as the one that was posted in a link to Summit Racing?

(edit: Milodon pan doesn not have the provision for low oil level sensor either but does incorporate the baffle and windage tray as stated above)

That oil pan is a Moroso part that is made to clearance larger stroke engines, for 86-later one piece seal SBC. It isn't an LT1 pan per say since it does not have the bung for the low oil level sensor. The Milodon pan that we also use a lot of does have the provision for the low oil sensor however.
