Voltage drop after AC delete

I noticed after deleting my AC my computer is now reading 12.7 volts at idle. The weird thing is that I checked that alternator while the car was running and it read 14.3V at idle. I understand there is going to be some voltage drop to the computer but 1.6 V is alot. In the past I was reading 13.2 V at the computer. Could this be due to the accessory belt being too long and belt slippage occuring? I know some people have gone with an 1/2 inch shorter belt when deleting the AC. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

my stock belt worked perfect. No change at all. Maybe your tensioner is not providing the tension it should?

That is alot of voltage to lose but when my car was running thats was datamaster was reading as well when I had everything hooked up. I dot think its going to hurt you at all but if you start seeing less than that i would get concerned especially if the voltage gage goes in the red.

It has not gone into the red but has come pretty close.

did you check belt tension? alignment? a misaligned belt can affect power transfer. Maybe the belt if off a track. As for belt tension, it should deflect about 1/4 of an inch with tension on it.

The alignment is right on. The belt defintely has more than 1/4 deflection. I would say it is more like an 3/4 of an inch. Thanks for the advice.
