videos of the ss with the fms cam installed

after having the cam sitting here for months i decided to put it in.

the cam is a 233/241 on a 112, the exhaust is slp midlenghts, h-pipe and true duals into bullet mufflers.

the first one with the hood closed was with zero tuning and it was sorta loading up from the 37 lbs injectors running on the 24 lbs injectors tune.

the second is after some tuning for the injectors and some timing in the lower rpms. it cleaned the idle up quite a bit.

notice the blower like whistle

so far its ok. still working on the tuning. every little change we made made it pull harder and we still have more to go with it. i know the nittos dont like it

mine for some reason loved more fuel, i think i made peak power with a final a/f of about 12.7:1 kinda weird but power is power. where are you shifting at? i shift ~6800 of course im just guessing with the stock tach lol

Re: videos of the ss with the fms cam installed

right now i havent bumped up the accel box so the limiter is around 6300 and the shift light is still set around 5800. i have yet to get it on a dyno to see what it wants becouse we still have more tuning to do. we still have to add more fuel but like you said, the more we added the harder it pulled.

i can tell you that 5800-6000 its still pulling like a freight train

what rpm did yours peak at on the dyno?

im wanting to say that it peaked around 6300, but it doesnt start falling off till about 6500. i know one time i dropped from 6800 to like 6300 and lost 3.5 mph needless to say the shift points were back at 6800. mine is also cam only, i dont know about all of yours...

in my experience yours will probably peak around 6500 and carry out to about 7k. if its a 350, obviously a little lower if its a 383
