vibration after new clutch
hi-
i have a 1993 LT1 z/28 with a 6-speed. i had a new clutch installed (a Ram clutch kit) the clutch is great its just that there is a vibration from 3500-4800 rpm in all gears. i have been told 2 different things by many ppl. when i called ram clutch's tech support they told me that it is because GM balanced the flywheel and pressure plate together as one piece, so when you install a new pressure plate that has been individually balanced it throws off the balance all together. Everyone else i talked to says they have NEVER heard of such a thing, and they believe that its probably just the pressure plate out of balance. what do you guys think, is RAM clutch giving me the run around??
