Yes. I've run 2.02/1.60.
This thread http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=152605 confirms this from a few members that are engine builders/head porters.

BTW- This should be asked in LT1 Tech. Transfering.

The stock seats in the LT1 heads can only be machined "so big" and they work perfect with 2.00/1.56 valves, if you use a 2.02/1.60 valve, you are basically placing a slightly larger valve in front of the same size seat. This DEFINITELY doesn't help flow.

The only reason to use the 2.02/1.60's would be the price. These sizes are alot more common and can be bought for less $$$. The 2.00/1.56 valves are a lil more $$$ but fit and flow better.

How much flow would I pick up going with the 2.00 and 1.56 combo over the stock valves with a 3 angle valve job? Would it be worth the cost for a very very budgeted build? THanks.

depends on the exact budget and what you would be giving up to opay the other $60-100 for 2.00/1.56 valves. If the $60-100 means that you do not have larger injectors or good tuning in the budget, use the cheeper valves. if you can come up with the extra $$$, it is worth it. Not sure of an exact HP # but it would be very small.
