The Crane springs are good for .600".
So the Crane's would be a good setup if the shims are not used?
Does any additional work need to be done to get the springs to work with those seats?
I am getting ready to buy some valve springs and haven't been able to decide which ones to get yet. But I don't want to machine the head to get them to work.

the crane kit is nice but those springs are kind of heavy for a rr only engine. the parts bret will sell you are probably a much better match and will be better suited for the job. every time i've dealt with him he always picks the best setup for the money when required. what he'll sell you will be the best lightest wieght parts for the money. as poorly understood as valvesprings are in general i have to say go to a pro for your parts its all they do every day.
