Valve spring selection

Valve spring selection

I need help choosing a set of valve springs.
Stock cam
1.6 roller rockers probably going crane gold or a set of jesel shafties
Figure 10 psi of boost

edit: stock 100k+ mile lifters

Would the lt4's work? Or should i got with the crane 10308 kit ?

i would go with the cranes, so you have more room for valvetrain upgrades in the future. Im going through the same thing, and im not sure if im gonna hafta change out all my springs because the previous owner put in springs that were only good enough for the cam that was currently in there. Do it once and be done with it

Whenever i get around to doing the heads (LE or AI) i will let them set up new springs to match their cam. So do it once do it right does not really apply to the springs.

The rockers i do have that mentality with, leaning towards the shafties.

What retainers and locks should i go with to fit the COMP Cams 1305-16 rocker?

those can be used with the stock locator, locks and retainers.
