Valve spring retainers & keepers w/LT4 springs

I'm going to be putting in some LT4 valve springs, is it necessary or required to use the LT4 retainers and keepers, if not would it be a good idea to get some? Whats different about the LT4 retainers and keepers over the stock LT1's anyways. Also other than valve seals, is there anything else I should put in while i'm in the area? Thanks.

I ran the LT4 springs with the LT4 shims, keepers, and retainers. For the low cost of the LT4 parts, it wasn't worth messing with other retainers and/or keepers.

You can use the LT4 springs with the LT1 shims, retainers and locks.

Is that what you are asking?
