Quick question... How do you determine what the maximum lift is on valve springs with 1.6rr....Is there a formula for it or could someone briefly explain it to me.. Thanks guys....

 

You take your installed height minus coil bind minus 0.050 = max lift

 

You don't find max lift for a spring with 1.6 rr's, you find the max lift of the spring (doing it how it was stated above), then you take your camshaft lift (assuming the listed lift is with 1.5, since most list it with that) and divide that number by 1.5 (that's your current ratio), then times it by 1.6 (that'll be your new ratio with 1.6 rr's), and the new number needs to be lower than your max spring lift.
