Just curious if I can use my stock valve covers with my new lt4 1.6 rr's. Or will I have clearance issues?

 

I'm not a expert on this. From what I have read it depends on which RR you have. I would suggest doing a search for more info.

clearance won't be an issue with the LT4 1.6rr s.

 

clearance is also not an issue with proform 1.6rr SA 3/8" from jegs with stock valve covers

No clearance issues but they are a little noisy, and the stock covers don’t help much. That’s whey I got the LT4 covers.

 

I had to bend the metal brace spacers straight in the covers to make them work with my CCpro mag 1.6s I've had no problems, except more noise frome the crappy covers. Lt4 covers are better, to bad they're like 180 bucks

 

i really couldnt hear that much difference between stock and roller rockers???

 

I just got done installing Crane Golds, LT4 springs, ect....... no valve cover issues or noticable noise difference ... could be the Royal Purple Synthetic helping that out

 

i have no issues with LT4 springs, gold race 1.6's and a 230/236 cam with stock valve covers. i think u will be okay. i would imagine that it would depend on the lift of your cam to though.
