Vacuum line location questions.
Vacuum line location questions.
Alright, I've been searching on this all night and hate to bother you guys but...here goes. I'm replacing some worn out vacuum lines on my 96 SS. I've run into a dillema with the EVAP lines. On Shbox site I noticed the Evap purge solenoid valve has it's top line running to the throttle body and the lower line going to the fuel line bundle which leads to the canister in back of car. When looking at my motor i noticed that my top line leading forward out of the solenoid goes to a circular black plastic looking thing and then out of it is the line that bundles up with the fuel lines. The bottom line running out of the solenoid goes to the side of the throttle body. Is this a problem? Do I need to switch them around? Appreciate any help as always.
Re: Vacuum line location questions.
Yeah, it is backwards. It would still work (because the solenoid merely connects one line to the other). I'd put it right, just because I am **** about such things.
