Vacum Canister Question.

Vacum Canister Question.
I'm considering running one, but I have never used one before, just wondering if they actually are worth running or not. My car is running pretty rich and idle and the fuel pressure is pretty high at idle also, I think its due to a lack of vacum from my cam. Do you think a canister will help this problem at all?

Re: vacuum Canister Question.
For your accessories or brakes it will help, but it has a check on the intake side to prevent vacuum going back to the engine. I have not run one except for accessories.
Ya need to get it tuned and drop your idle A/F to 14.5 to 15-1.
Your injector size will probably handle it with a master dyno tune and tune for driveability.

Re: Vacum Canister Question.
hi
i just got my vacuum canister in but it came with 3/8 inch fittings for the hoses. the stock hose is 1/2 inch from the intake manifold to brake booster. i already have my 3/8 inch setup installed and was wondering if this is okay. having a smaller diameter hose isnt going to hurt anything will it? thanks a lot for your help.
