Re: urgent question

My brother sucked a bunch of water up into the engine of his Jeep. It was really bad, ended up hydrolocking the motor and the pressure inside of the chamber broke one of the piston rings and scored the cylinder wall. He had to have it rebuilt later.

Just keep an eye on your engine oil level, if it doesn't drop more than usual then you should be fine(especially since it seems to be running fine).

Re: urgent question

I say it should be fine, if you sucked up that much water then I would suggest taking all the plugs out of the engine and turning it over until all water exited the chamber.

Re: urgent question

when i had my CAI i used to suck up water alot, i don't have that panel under the cai installed, so my tires kick water all over the filter. I have never had any problems. Had a buddy that hydrolocked his and it is fine, when i opend up the butterfly it poured enough water to fill up a milk jug. You should be fine. Like FastZ said just keep checkin oil level.
