Urgent OptiSpark questions

Well the car started to run rough and backfire the other night which I thougt was due to a few burnt plug wires. I replaced the wires and then the car wouldnt even start. It just cranks. So then I thought it might be the optispark cap and rotor so I replaced those and still no luck. Now today I was looking at the 4 wire weatherpack connector that goes into the Opti and realized there was no sensor on it. I do not remember seeing a sensor that it could be attached to when I pulled the cap and rotor off. One of my questions is did that sensor fall off into my Opti by the trigger wheel? Is there supposed to be a sensor connected to that plug when you remove it? And my final question is if I order a new Opti does it come with that sensor? Any help would be appreciated. The car is driving me nuts right now and I would really like to get it running. Thanks. -Dan

The optical sensor module is what the connector "connects" to. Have you compared what you installed with this:
