Upper RPM power?

Hey

Just wondering what kind of modifications could give my LT1 some midrange-upper RPM power. Would headers be good start? Also, i have the feeling that the guy who owned the car before might of put a shift kit in. Are there any dead giveaways that there is one installed?
Thakns

Re: Upper RPM power?

thats what i was thinking, but the car is my only daily driver, so i would want to keep the mileage decent. What do you guys think of the hotcam? What other mild cams would you prefer?

thanks again

I did this and can feel a difference in mid to high RPM's.
Its noticeabley faster reving in first and second than before.

It takes a new cam to really unleash the higher power.

Yea, if your head gets slammed back into the seat on the 1-2 shift.
