I am looking to upgrade from my 87 IROC to a 94 or 95 Z28 with the LT1 and a 6 speed. What can I expect to pay for a car like this, assuming that it is in decient condition. I am expecting to get about $7000-$7500 for my 87 IROC. Also, what kind of times do the LT1 6 speeds turn in the 1/4?

 

I got my '94 M6 for $3000, and I would say it is in near perfect shape. Needed a front end alignment and new tires, but thats it. Just look around and you can get a good deal. If you can actually get that much out of your '87 you would have a lot left over for mods.

 

Get a 95+ if you want the vented optispark(worth it's weight in gold, relatively speaking). I usually see 95s M6s go for $6-8k around here. You can expect anywhere from a 13.8 to 14.2 @ about 100mph bone stock, depending on your launch,shifting, and traction.

 

I dunno I personally think its gonna be tough to get $7k from your car, especially since you can easily pick up a fourth gen for that much...
