Thumbs up "Upgrade" questions...

I have a 94 Z28, 5.7 L, automatic (bought it off my Dad for a good deal):

What i've done so far:

* PaceSetter Headers
* MSD Wires
* Flowmasters 80 series
* EGR crap gone / Air Housing coming out next (sure it's illegal, i should care but don't, sorry--no emissions test in Michigan!)
* Catalytic converter Removed, straight pipe
* Removed A/C w Delete pulley
* Cold air intake
* New OEM cap & rotor (DI)
What's on the way:

* 200 Amp alternator
* Performance water & steering pumps
* Set of performance pulleys
* Peformance rotors (front and back) / & brakes

QUESTIONS:

1. What peformance chip/programmer would you recommend I go with? (considering i would also like to get rid of my air housing, and O2 sensors...egr stuff is already gone.) Also would like to have my fans come on earlier, and of course the extra engine/tranny tuning features.

2. What would be a good turbocharger kit to go with? Will the kit require me to change stuff like my fuel pump, etc...or will it be included and/or even be necessary at all to change?

3. Do you recommend any other products from MSD, like ignition controls, coils, etc???

Thanks!
Eric

Re: "Upgrade" questions...

1. Instead of a programmer, I would recommend a mail-order tune from Madz28 or PCMS4Less, two of this board's supporting vendors. They are much cheaper and alot more effective.
2. STS makes a complete turbo assembly for the LT-1 or LS-1 based f-body
3.Seeing that you are stock, with the exception to a few bolt-ons, a MSD box and coil will not do much to benefit you right now, but if you do go the forced induction route, then it is a good upgrade to consider.

Re: "Upgrade" questions...

Agreed. Contact Ion or PCMforless.com for a quote. There's not a "chip" or handheld programmer made that can adequately cover every possible motor setup out there.

One size fits all tunes =
