Umbrella valve seal question

I broke a couple of valve springs and in doing so messed up a bunch of seals. Since the local dealer wanted nearly $50 for stock seals I went ahead and ordered a set of 11/32 umbrella seals. These seals seem to be a little different from what I pulled off as they ride the valve stem as opposed to staying in one place. Are there any drawbacks to using the umbrella seals?

The umbrella seals should be fine. Similar to the old Ford and Chrysler style I would think. They are less "positive" than the guide mounted seal, but you probably won't notice the difference.
