Tranny slipping or PCM tuning?

Last friday at the track during the shifts, my car would hit the rev limiter during its shifts. My question is, is this because the tranny's slipping, or is this because of the PCMforless tuning? It doesn't feel like the tranny slips during acceleration (pulled a 2.0 60' w/ horrible track prep). I was wondering if this hitting the rev limiter could be because of the tuning, because after tuning my car started shifing at 5900-6000 instead of 5800 (I know this because we had my friends laptop hooked up to the car before and after the tuning). Could it be that PCMforless raised the shift points without raising the rev limiter? I'm going to be emailing PCMforless to get the stock tuning to see if that solves the problem.
Hopefully it's not the tranny, but has anyone ever had this problem when it wasn't the tranny?

Thanks
Ryan

Sounds to me like he increased shift points without raising the rev limiter. Did he increase line pressure with the new tune? (firmer shifts via PCM)

I think he did increase the line pressure. It does shift alot harder than it used to. When I ordered the tuning online, I clicked on the "Performance transmission shifting" part (something like that). Hopefully this isn't going to be hurting anything, but I might just get the tuning w/o the harder transmission shifting option.
