The people that make them kind of claims don't post there race weight.....that is what it would have to be with only 290 rhp.....it would have to be on a diet for sure.....an auto car with 109 would have to have 325 whp i would think.......my car has 340 and the highest it has mph on motor is 110.......so i would have to see that car hit the scales to see what is going on....just my .02

Hey I am in Bowling Green just wondering what track it was you were at??? The 100% humidity sounds like Beech Bend....May not be ...But as far as your times there aren't that bad...I got my car last year and it ran 13.3 with cc305 at 102 -104 with edel. shorties, flowmaster catback w,3.73's stock stall... I thought the same as you What is wrong with this thing....Don't get discouraged...... I went to long tubes true duals, tune up and some suspension, and I made it down to 12.6 109.......You need to come up to Bech Bend and race on a cool evening...Me and a bunch of my buddies are ussually there ....Let me know and maybe we can dial it in a lil better...if you think it maybe false knock or something I have a knock module you can use so iff it could be the prob.....No biggy...Let me know sometime if you plan to come up and we can see what we can do....L8R Ben

Wtf did I do wrong? I have headers, CAI and water pump and I only dynoed 291hp/319tq. I am jealous. Any suggestions?

Hey man I ran up at BB that same day, except it was TnT by the time I got there, didn't run during the event. I had a better outting than last month:
Temp: 79*
Relative Humidity: 100
Barometer: 30.49

RT: .764
60'2.102
330: 5.867
1/8: 8.818@83.03
1000:11.408
13.530@106.19

The track was prepped really good, i was happy w/ my times, considering I was running 14's last month (3rd time on the 1/4 track)
You ever go down to Lawrenceburg US 43 Dragway?? its an 1/8 of a mile track.

Im trapping as I said 104.60 with 290 RWHP so where is he getiing 4.5 more MPH from? M6 cars with bolt-ons I might beleive it, but an A4?
Wow I did n`t know my times were all that great considering Bill Plummer in the issue before last GMHP magazine turned a 12.26 w\ a smaller stall than me. He`s a good freind of mine and lives about 20 minutes from me. But anyways.

Mods: YanK SY3500 converter, 3:42 gears, BFG drag radials, Al driveshaft, BMR subframes, control arms and panhard rod, SLP 94-95 style 1.75 prim headers, no cats, SLP loudmouth exhaust(yeah its damn loud), msd ignition, SLP ram air hood and air box, Ed wright custom tune, msd ignition, 52mm arizona speed and marine TB, GMHPP 1.6roller rockers which according to GMHTP mag are considered bolt-ons, meizere electic h2o pump, march underdirve pulley, fernco smooth bellows, unmolested screen in mass air, lightweight dry battery 13.5 lbs, no seats except for driver, no spare or jack, still have A\C, Ttops power goodies carpet and stereo in car. (almost forgot front sway bar removed)Race weight 3425lbs w\ me in it.

Car dynoed 291.9RWHP and 353.3 RWTQ w\ the converter.

track was VMP in petersburg Va elevation is around 260 feet above sea level I believe.

I`ll post my 4 12.4 passes on the next post w\ breakdowns.

I`ve also turned 12.448@108.11, 12.445@108.79, 12.494@107.58 on Nov1rst 2002 at VMP. Car is very consistent w\ no tire spin, w\ spin i lose a little.

I am currently getting ready to install TEA heads and a XE 230/236 cam so this will be my best ever bolt-on time. I will not be going to the track before the install. I am alos on the EFA website and Tidewater Racing.

Since you think you can do it (your goal) why don`t you think I can? This statement is contradictory to the one you made about my car...
I don`t understand?

I mean would it not be better to ask me how i got there, to make it easier for you to get there? I`m not flaming you I just think you shouldn`t be so quick to raise the BS flag.

By the way email me anytime and I would be glad to help you attain your goal.

Yea the track seemed to be alright when I went. Some guys were only cutting 2.0x sixty foot times on ET streets though. I didn't have a problem with traction at all. Do you go to any of the car shows around here?? I go to the bellevue one on saturday, you should check it out sometime.

I have seen your car last year at the cool springs cruise in last year...your car looked familiar, but I recognized that single pipe exhaust on the left side there...my car was under construction all year last year.

I was actually at the Bellvue cruise the last Saturday of March, I am part of the MTFBA we were the "featured car club"
My car is far from show condition right now, it looks like a pale black right now and the front end is caked with bugs, I may check it out this weekend though, what part of TN do you live in?
