My bolt on LT1 pulls on my friends 99 A4 Z28 with Lid and Loudmouth catback from 40mph to 120mph by about a car. I raced a 01 M6 WS6 with Borla and we were side by side, nobody pulling nobody from a 60mph roll on the interstate. LS1's have some crazy top end. A Longtubed and other bolt on LT1 M6 should be a "Drivers" race unless of course you have some of those LS1 freaks trapping 109-111mph with intake and catback. Of course its not the peak rwhp a car makes that determines which is faster. Its who holds the highest rwhp for the longest time. Thats why you see some bolt on LT1's only dynoing 300rwhp or so yet pulling some LS1's. The Longtubes help even out the powerband throughout the rpms.

Maybe in cooler weather you may have seen a 13.4xx, but I think you would need to do more to see 12's.

60 foot- 1.769
330 foot- 5.2562
1/8 ET- 8.2321
1/8 MPH- 82.31
1000 ET- 10.8117
1/4 ET- 12.9892
1/4 MPH- 103.82

Think of it this way - with his little amount of mods hes trapping near the same as you, so if he gets his 60' into your area (1.7x) he'll be right next to you

290 RWHP and Im in the high 12's. I think that is pretty good. Heading out this Wednesday if the weather is good and will see about getting this car closer to a 12.79. My goal is to be under 300 RWHP and around 12.4xx in the quarter.

oh, wow.
that's not normal is it? For a CAI, shortie, RR, stall car to run mid-low 12's?

I don't think your times were that bad considering the weather. LT1's hate high humidity, with low humidity you may have gained 1-2/10ths I would bet. That and lowering your 60' times to a 1.8 and you'd be getting real close to 12's. 3:73's wouldn't hurt either

Actually, there are quite a few fast LT1's with stock heads and cam running mid 12's.
The fastest bolt on LT1 in our area is in the high 11's.

109 MPH trap speed in a bolt on car? Post a complete time slip. He has basically dynoed the same RWHP as myself and yet my best was 104.60 MPH. I would really like to see a bolt on car, and especially one that only has those mods trap that. Im not calling BS, but woiuld merely like to see a break down on a time slip.

And a 12.411 with those mods, I must say its hard to swallow but not unbeilveable.

There is another guy on here with a Black WS6 that is trapping 109mph or right at it with bolt ons. I think its the ram air giving the extra mph or so. The only bolt on LT1's i've seen have been ram air.

An A4 car with bolt-ons trapping 109. Especially a car the has the bolt-ons, 1.5 RR's and is trapping 109, come on. Lets see some proof. 289 RWHP and he can trap 109

Im trapping as I said 104.60 with 290 RWHP so where is he getiing 4.5 more MPH from? M6 cars with bolt-ons I might beleive it, but an A4?
