Ive reused flywheel bolts a couple dozen times, if your really worried a set of ARP bolts are probably under 25 bux.

If they look fine, I would say reuse them...

Hmm...I didnt even think of replacing mine when I did my clutch swap. My car has over 120k miles on it and all is fine.

I understand that these bolts are reusable, but I generally don't take chances with critical bolts on a performance vehicle. I replace them with ARPs.

Not worth the risk to reuse the old ones when I nice set of ARP's can be had for ~10 bux. The only thing that pissed me off about them was that I had to go out and buy a 12 point socket to fit them...

I am not inclined to scrimp, but I have reused them on many vehicles without a problem.

Some say re-use and some say dont. Either way it really doesnt matter. It would be good insurance to go ahead and change them out but many people including most transmission shops will jsut re-use the old ones and never see a problem. Its up to you.

In theory, any bolt that gets torqued to a particular spec should not be re-used.

In practice, lots of people re-use them.

Still, it's not a lot of money to buy new and never have to worry, is it?

Not recommended from what I've seen, however I did reuse mine last time I took the heads off (~2 years ago) with no problems. I got a set of ARP's from Summit for when my heads get back this time though. They're only $50 or so..
