Type of valvesprings/rockers for 230/236 XE cam?

Type of valvesprings/rockers for 230/236 XE cam?

A neighbor of mine down the road has a '94 Corvette LT1 M6 that I will be installing a Comp Cams XE 230/236 112 lsa. It has been a while since I dug into my LT1 motor with similar mods a few years ago and was wondering what are the best "drop in" valvesprings to go with? Should he go with self-aligning or non-aligning comp pro-mag 1.6 rockers? My old setup was from Combination Motorsports back in the day and the springs were the CM 612's and comp 1.6 self aligning rockers - I liked that set-up as I didn't have to check install height on the springs or change pushrod length. Thanks for any advice!

It all depends on what he is going to be doing with the car. If he's just going to be driving it and such with most of the driving done at lower than red-line rpms, then a self-aligning setup will work just fine. If he is building it to see a lot of high rpm use, then he might want to lean towards non-self-aligning (nsa) rockers.

I'm running COMP pro-mag 1.6 NSA 7/16" ARP studs with Manley one piece hardened pushrods (7.100 length), TRW guideplates, and COMP 918 beehives with a COMP 306 cam.
I got the shorter length pushrods to attain a better roller tip to valve stem geometry.
