Turn motor half a revolution then stops, whats up?

I just installed a new cam, and I went to adjust the valves and motor just stopped like it hit a brick wall. After that I ordered new springs to match the cam, and it is still doing it. I do have the oil pump drive out of the block, would that cause it. Or do you think valves are hitting the pistons? I wouldn't think it would be that because Iam running 14cc dish pistons in my motor. AFR 210cc heads on the motor also.

Did you line up the dots on the crank and cam gears when the cam was installed?

The crank gear, I put the arrow straight up. The mark on the timing gear I put straight down. I noticed that I put the locks on finger tight, and it looked like the pushrod was pushing the lifter all the way down. So I backed the locks off almost to the top, and the motor turns all the way.
