1. changing the rear end gear ratio to correct shift points (A4) and to correct the speedo.
2. different cam
3. change in ci of motor (strokers)
4. supercharger
5. to clear SES light when deleting air and egr or removing cats
6. different size fuel injectors
7. several others im forgeting because its 3am...
there is lots of things a pcm reprogram can do, check out www.pcmforless.com bryan has great prices and does a good job.he has a good reputation here as well run a search.
