tuning questions
whats up guys, i recently went to pass emissions and i failed, but dont worry i registered in a different county the same day and have legal plates now.
anyways, i failed because i had to much hydro carbons at 4.9205 (legal limit is .800) the guy said this is due to unburned fuel in the exhaust, whats the cause? i have stock injectors/ pump
i also barely failed oxides of nitrogen at 2.2406 (legal limit 2.0)
i passed carbon monoxide and failed visual inspection because my air injection system is not hooked up,
i had the cutout closed and usually run it open and have a random technology cat.
my question is do i need to get my car retuned?
i had it done by pcmforless.com and since this i have done tb bypass, raised my compression to 11.5 and had my heads resurfaced and a new 3 angle valve job, new head gaskets,
2800 yank, transgo shift kit, built tranny,
do i need to send it back for a redo?
i also added msd6al instead of 6a.
i also have stock o2 sensors, does this affect anything?
basically i dont care about passing emissions i just want a properly running vehicle,
thanks and sorry for the length,
Jesse
