Tuning question

How much does it cost for a mail order tune and where is a good place to get one from. How does a dyno tune normally cost?

PCM4Less or MADZ28

They are around $100 I think, I don't remember exactly.

Just looked on both of their sites and madtuner is $125 and PCM4Less is $175 who would do better with a N/A 383 stroker or are they about the same?

a dyno tune will probably be your best bet for a car with more advanced mods. either one of the mail order tuners will give you a decent tune though really doesn't make too much difference which you pick.

I would rather have a dyno tune but I don't think there is one closer than 6 hours to me. So I fiqured I would try a mail order tune and maby get a dyno later.

If you do a search, you will find that both tuners have a very big and supportive customer base. Can't go wrong with either IMO.

Get a cable and tune it your self. There is lots of free .bin files floating around.

If you know anything about electronics and wiring just make one yourself, cheap and easy.

If you get the cable you can simply had MadZ28 send the files to you. Its cheaper and you don't have to pay to ship things back and forth. Plus whenever you need a new tune its only $25.
