Tuning question

What will happen if you get a shift kit and then get a tune for the trans to shift harder? Will it tear the trans up when it shifts? Will it just shift harder, or will it not do anything at all?

I think what happens is that the person that does the tuning, tunes your shifts to the style of shift kit.

I think the way it works is the shift kit controls the actual points in which the tranny shifts and the PCM tune will adjust the shift harshness.
