The fun is getting ready to begin.....I just got my new fuel pump after all of your guys advice and thought while I was going to get my hands dirty hopefully you all can help me with a few more issues....

I got what I think was a good deal on my 1997 Z28, M6 with 120,000 miles real, real clean, white with the orange stripes for $5800.00. Got some small tuning problems I think or maybe just forgotten maintence by the last owner. It bogs in any gear under 2k if you try to accell ,small oil leak coming from the front timing chain cover, and smells like its running rich...

Any advice on what I need to tune or A good Mechanic in Charlotte NC area to take it to

 

Treat it like any other tune up, do plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, change the oil, clean the carbon out of the throttle body and go from there.

 

I would also try running a can of seafoam through it. dump one in the gas and run one through the fuel rails.
