tune needed for new injectors?

tune needed for new injectors?

if i put in my new red tops now will it run fine untill i get my tuning software?

If you change the size of the injectors without telling the PCM the new flow rate, its not going to run right. The PCM can make limited corrections in closed loop, but when you go WOT with oversize injectors its going to run extremely rich, possibly enough to damage the engine by washing the lubrication off the cylinder walls.

Dont run the car much with out a tune. changing injectors hurts you with out a tune. a friend of mine had 42lb injectors in his car and didnt tune it and ended up washing out the piston rings. now he has to rebuild the motor.
