Bought mine used with the lower A arms, adjustable drag shocks, and Ls1 brakes for $250.00. This is a P A K member. Only took 2 hours to install. You can tell by the picture how much more room it gives you from the bottom end.

Thats a hell of a deal. I looked for a long time for a used one and couldn`t find one, so I had to buy new. Your whole setup cost about half of what my lowef a-arms cost

BES-383 nice photo, does anyone know if the PA K-member is designed differently than the BMR? The reason I ask is the BMR K-member will not work with my A S & M headers. [It interferes with the left side collector.]
Thanks.

BES-383, that looks sharp!

Can I do this tubular K member with a stock LT1 if I just want to lighten up my car some?

The tubular K member lightens up the front about 25 lbs and greatly increases access to plugs and wires.

The stock rag joint looks like a piece of fiber reinforced rubber. Heat fronm the exhaust wipes it out and add play to the steering.

My research on this board showed the BMR to be the best piece so that's what I bought. If your car has high mileage, you may want to look at replacing the upper/lower control arm bushings and ball joints at the same time. I bought the ES poly bsuhings and Moog ball joints/tie rod ends.

i have a PA racing K member that will be going in this winter. either piece is good. Also the fact that the PA unit was free didnt hurt it's standings in the decision.
i went with PA because at the time the BMR was a new piece, and had issues with hooker LT's hitting the kmember, they have since fixed that.

I went with BMR's package. Just the access you gain from under the car is worth it.

They were available in late 1995 as a 96 model. Camaro SS was not available after 1972 until the end of 1995.

I do really like that rag joint kit though. My steering does have some play in it plus that black looks so much nicer than rusted metal covered with a black plastic shield.
