Tubular K member?

How hard is the install of one of these things? Also how much weight do they save from up front? I would assume the car would be easier to work on after getting it in there.

Justed helped my friend install one in his 96 TA. We used an engine hoist and a happy hooker to hold the engine in place while we swapped the cross members. Very straight forward (installed a BMR unit). You'll need an alignment when your done. Good time to install a rag joint eliminator to tighten up the steering too.

I would also just go ahead and pull the lower a-arms on each side when you install it. makes it alot easier.
You will also have a bunch more room to get to plugs and routing your wires with the tubular k-member.

Thats more like it, and if you get the lower a-arms, it`s about another 8.

You can check out the prices there. They are streetable of course and much stronger than the stock ones. Good luck.

I got mine from ACA for $375.
That was as cheap as I could find it.
