Exclamation Trying To Make The Belts Stop Making Nosie

I HAVE A 97 FIREBIRD LT1 AND I HAVE CHANGED THE BELT SPRAYED BELT GREESE ON THEM AND THEY STILL MAKE LOUD NOSIES WHAT CAN I DO

Belt dressing on serpentine belts is pretty useless. Sounds like your belt tensioner is bad. This is a fairly common problem and easy to fix.

You can take a dab of sealant (liek ultra black grey whatever) and dab soem on either side of the serpentine belt itself.. Start it up and it will end the squeeling garunteed.. That is unles it is an actual tensioner making the noise.. Most of the time this will work.. I have no idea why but used this method for years

Anti-seize lubricant will stick to em too and help with squeaking
