I tried to start my car and i just get a single click.. Fuel pump sounds weird. Does this sound electrical or fuel related? I have a brand new battery... Didn't really have time to check voltage or fuel pressure yet (had to goto work)... Could a dead fuel pump cause a single 'click' ?

i still haven't been able to get home to touch my car. Am i right in thinking that this is NOT related to a dead fuel pump? if it was the fuel pump, the car would crank.... and not just give a single click right?

 

Correct. Sounds like the battery. Either it's dead or you have a bad connection (dirty terminals, etc.).
