Where is this shop located? Do you have some pics of your setup and how is it? Good quality workmanship and all? I live in Gwinnett and if this place isnt too far away then I would possibly use them for my exhaust.

OMG, that looks liek you would have absolutely NO ground clearance. That would definetely not fly around my area, those mufflers would be gone in a day. That cool though, just definetely wouldnt work for me.

Ground clearance is really not that bad. The bottom of the mufflers hang down just as far as the LT headers.

Hey Jason, is your car lowered? I wanna get these true duals and some LTs if possible but I would still like to get an Eibach Pro Kit and drop it just a little. You guys think that is gonna be possible?

Mine is not lowered. There is one guy here in town that has his lowered and has the same exhaust set up. The only difference is he has hooker LT and I have jet hot LT. The exhaust shop that we got it done at liked how my headers didn't hang as low. I am not sure which spring kit he has though. He doesn't say much about having any problems. I think he just has to be more careful than I do. I might beable to get some pics of his car and post them.

SLeePer350,
The mufflers that I have are spintech street sportmans. I would say that the spintechs are a great muffler. They aren't too loud but when you get on it all eyes turn to you.

wow, that is definitely something i would consider. i cant rationalize bullets anymore. it just doesnt seem like it would be a pleasant sound over a long period of time. i dont want just loud all the time.

so yeah if spintechs dont really get loud until 1/2 throttle or WOT than i am all for them, what is the best/cheapest place to get those particular mufflers?
i would probably still dump then though before the axle, unless you truly havent had any problem with going under axle.

Whats the difference in sound or clearance if you dump it right over the rear axle or like a regular exhaust?

I'm really clueless on True Duals, but I have heard this... they flow the best, and sound the best. I want the best exhaust possible for my Trans AM... just totally unsure which way to go. I want Pacesetters LT's... unsure about everything else though. I have never heard LT1 sound clips with True Duals though, just LS1.

Why is so difficult to use a X pipe on F-Bodies?
